Locked out numerous times in a short period

I have been with CapOne for several years, multiple accounts, personal as well as business. Somewhere around December 1st 2017 I started getting locked out of my accounts. I'd receive emails that it happened, but I had not even been near the online accounts. Not all of them but the same two, one personal, one business. The personal account I can repair with simple online prompts, but the business one requires a phone call. Have to beat the phone up to get a human every time, wait until the recorded voice gets tired telling me the call volume is higher than normal and the wait time will be longer than XXX minutes and then the humans are of varying degrees of helpfulness from very helpful to completely useless. None have an answer as to the problem, but generally they help me get back online. I don't jump to fix the problem each time because of the frustration as well as the lack of immediate need. Today I called and the stupid woman argued with me about the procedure I was using to logon and why her temporary password wasn't working. "No way it can't work" was her response! I gave up on her and will try again tomorrow. In them meantime I am migrating all my banking to another bank and will avoid CapOne going forward. Customer service is nothing more than a title, but means nothing to real service.

BUGS IN NEW WEBSITE

Have had a Cap One 360 account since it was ING Direct (in other words, for years). Website was wonderful, but the recently revamped website is awful.

You can no longer update a scheduled transfer of money from one account to another. For example, you get a big bill and need to increase the amount of money in a scheduled transfer. No, you have to do a separate transfer, so it's easier to use up your 6 per month. Secondly, I couldn't get the Cancel button to work on a transfer.

And thirdly, I scheduled a transfer for next week, but the transfer went through immediately. Why did they have to break something that worked beautifully for 15 years?

I have been with this bank since it was ING as well and I’m so disappointed and infuriated by this new interface. I haven’t been able to find an way to open up a new savings account! It’s so badly designed—calling them tomorrow to make formal complaint.

Totally agree. Cap One 360 was built upon the solid ING direct website.

Their new website really sucks and is not even fully operational since most of the links take you back to the old functional website. It's an all around garbage substitute that offers no value added and in fact only makes online banking more of a headache. They are going to start losing customers in droves.

Bring back what worked fine for over 10 years! And just reinstate the person to person payment with higher transfer limits.

Horrible Do Not Open Use Any Other Bank!

Sending my money in checks without properly having my address on file. Waited 4 weeks after an error committed on their end! Horrible do not open any accounts with Cap360 worst customer service experience!

So, I've raved about my C1/360 acct and even recommended it to others. Then today, probably the most important business day of the year for me, I recieved a rather large check from a client that I was relying on to fund a major purchase. Lo and behold, my account has been flagged and I need to call customer service. This is not where my contempt lies, but in while attempting to call "customer service" I get put on hold for 3 HOURS. Not once, not twice, but three times. HOW THE *** AM I SUPPOSED TO UNFREEZE MY ACCOUNT IF I CANT TALK TO ANYONE?!

VERY RUDE SERVICE BY EMPLOYEE

I have done business with Capital One for years. I put most of my money in their 360 account and had my new vehicle payment coming directly from my 360 savings account.

I went to Capital One bank asking questions, thinking there was a problem with some missing funds from my account. The bank employee did not like what i was telling her and rudely closed my account and issued me a check for my money. That resulted in me missing my car payment and causing me to pay late charges. I went to another Capital One Bank and opened up a new account.

When the employee from the previous Capital One found out of the new account, they sent me a email telling me that again they had closed my account and mailed me a check for my money, because of my rude behavior and would never do business with me again.They were the ones that treated me very rudley. I am 69 years old and this is unacceptable.

All bad with capital one 360 checking.

I had a checking account with capital one 360 about a year ago. Since at the time i was self imployed and recieving personal checks from people i did work for, i used my C1/360 account to deposit those checks.

Now from wat my account statements had said, i should have around $4,000.

In my checkings, but due to "suspicuous activity" on my accounts, and personal checks that needed "athurization" accourding to capital one 360 tech support, my accounts were gonna be terminated and was told i was gonna have to wait up to a year to find out about anything reguarding my money that i had in my checkings, ($4,000.) This Capitol one 360 account gave me nothing but problems to begin with, now im sitting on an account with around $4,000. thats been terminated and havent heard back from capital one 360 since Feb.2016

Stay Away - Routiinely violate privacy

I attempted to access my checking account online today, Capitol One 360's "new" website login prompted me to verify my information - including a new requirement to verify my annual income! There was no way to skip this step. I do not have any loans or credit lines with this bank. I placed a call to customer service who stated "Unfortunately you must verify your income in order to access your account, its a new policy" Capitol One 360 continues to infringe upon privacy right of its members - more and more invasive questions have become a requirement, repeatedly brokering data that they are not entitled to. Today its reporting income, tomorrow what will it be? Your expenses?Tax return info? Investment disclosures? Political party? Mortgage balances? Household members? Capitol One 360 checking accounts are analyzed for marketing purposes and other data brokering activities so that they can profit from their members. I intend to find another bank - today.

Keep my Money

I open an 360 account 3 months ago. The close out the account and said it was excessive withdraws. My account had a remaining balance of $500.38. They tell me that it will arrive in the mail in 7-10 business day.. It now over 4 weeks and i still have receive my funds. Now they says the only way for me to receive my funds is by air mail in a check form. Now its going on the 3 check that Captail one has issue from them and i still havent got my 500.38... Why my money cant just be deposit in to my checking account i have with them...??? Where is my money..!!

Capital One has inadequate security procedures..

We are a long time credit card client of Capital One. Unfortunately, Capital One allowed some unknown fraudster to add her name to our account as an "additional authorized user" without contacting us first to confirm this was acceptable! From what we can tell, the fraudster had obtained just enough information to pose as one of us and make a call into Cap One, getting herself added to the account as an additional authorized user. However, there was NO attempt by Cap One to independently confirm this change to our account. Capital One did not contact us by mail, email or phone to confirm the fraudster's change to our account before placing it into effect!!! As such, it wasn't until after the fraudster made charges to the account, and we saw them on the bill, did we call Cap One and ask that the account be closed and a new card issued. The whole matter got worse from there. This has become a giant headache and Capital One was the sole cause of it all.

Everyday a new problem with my account

I have had my CapitalOne 360 account for a while now and it always seems like there's something wrong with my account. First, it was my email which has been the same for the past few years.

They wanted me to update it and apparently saying "It's the same email you've been sending my bank statements to" doesn't count as updating. They got the email finally and everything was fine but now I can't even sign in. It keeps kicking me out and telling me to call this number but everytime I call it they can't understand me when I say "360 account". I don't understand how hard it is to understand.

It's very simple: just "360 account". So my question is: what are they doing? Are they getting rid of CapitalOne 360?

Because I'm sick of CapitalOne 360 playing games with my accounts. It's not fair and I don't think they'd take it too kindly if I played with them.

They miss managed my account They thought $400 would never get paid. when i was paying monthy of $30 a month for as debit card. they did ask for an increase of an extra 100 .00 i did that once they claim that they cant reach me by email thats false,why would they want to contact me when im paying on the account i called my account is in a charge off mode now and i was paying on it a never missed a payment in the last 6 months , No threats of collection ever taken .i pay $25 at chase for the same amount due Capital one bank wanted $100 but never told me this time . A CHARGE OFF I NEVER HAD ON E THIS IS NOT FAIR .Capital one bank the ratings are very poor i seen others where they charged off accounts of $700. thats crazy too i think a student with loans.

Absolutely terrible

India reps - stating there names are really Vin, Vinny, Mark and Mack -no translation, scripted lines, no management to xfr to, and lots of lies and confusion = the "specialists" advised me my card was fine - never missed a payment, and were contrary to my info, provided false and wrong info and blamed the vendors I was using (like dunkin and dominos) when it was their issue all along, then lied about cancelling my card number and reissuing as a customer service. I was repeatedly told it was the vendor and not my card - all was fine with the card - then in the last hour when I called - the card number was indeed changed and reissued - but not until I called - and none was sure why, but rest assured - the "good news" was I should get a new card in about 2 weeks....Managers ended up denying the screw up, but then offering $10-$30 in credit to make it right. I told them that was a joke with all the time I had into this and the complaint to the DOI was worth more to me.

Locked out of online access

I opened a Cap One 360 account so I would have a place to deposit checks using their mobile app. That worked great for over a year.

Then it didn't work at all. Could not log in. I could log into their website, using the same account access information that would no longer work on the app, and deposit that way. That worked one time.

Now I am locked out of the website access too. I have talked to no less than 6 customer representatives, including visiting the St. Cloud, MN branch personally. They can not (will not?) fix the issue.

It has something to do with my user data, but they evidently don't know what. They are very polite and try to be helpful, but their tech team is obviously in over their heads. It has been well over 2 months, and no fix.

No correspondence from them, unless you count 2 form emails from their tech department saying they know there is a problem. No *** Sherlock.

This has happened to us also we have been locked out for some info update and they can't seem to fix it now locked out two months this is the worst ever service I have seen.

They closed my account with funds. They transfer me to a department that is suppose to mail me a check . But they don't answer or respond to emails .

I am having the same issue since July I have $4720 in the account and I cannot access it they keep telling me that the department cannot be call directly into I don’t know what else to do I’m at a loss here. How long have you been without your money
